Real Winners and Losers

This is not going to be about what you might expect. This is a post about how the Democrats are losing more than just elections. The Dems are losing their activists to independence. Yes I mean they are leaving the county committee and they are also leaving the party. Soon it will be the City will only have the Dems and they don't vote in large numbers. SO we can't gain registrations and the Dems are losing them too. What a waste of good voters! A number of other bloggers believe this is a good thing that they are leaving the Democratic Party. As this will allow the old time Dems to retain control. But what will they control? The remaining Dems? And will these remaining Dems be enough to do anything at all? I personally hope they allow all their people that have brains to leave and then there will be the eqivalence of 3 parties in the county. US, the Dems and then the rest! This will be good for US and bad for the other 2 "parties". I hope they never get smart!

People

Some people think they know and don't. Some people know and they don't. But then there are some people that aren't sure what they know and they are the ones to be careful of because they usually DO know! Watch out because the ones to worry about are right behind the ones that are in charge ready to do whats right rather than what the dictators say is right!

Election Results

Well I guess with the election history a big thank you needs to go out to the Berks County Democratic Chairman, again. First he had no candidates for numerous row offices. He supported and got 2 of our Republicans Elected. Tim Rowley (congrats Tim) and John (change party 2 days before the primary) Adams. Will he remain a Dem or will he return to myside? He also got a Republican judge retained (Schmehl). Now in all of this he allowed us to take control of the Commissioners by not supporting an incumbent commissioner. He also allowed a certain few committee people (5 in all 2 Prussmans, 2 Wertz's and a Banning) to openly campaign against that commissioner with no reprecussions. WOW, maybe I should change parties and work as a mole! He also allowed the other incumbent Democratic commissioner and her sidekick to work against the incumbent that was running. The only real victory for the Dems last night (thank the Lord) was the Sheeler guy beat that run for everything Fielding. The fact that Barnhart won is over shadowed by the fact that we won the majority on the board!
